First off, a little bio on MIDIAN for people that don't know aboutthem (shame on you, by the way). They released two demos in 1989, under the MERCENARI moniker and then changed their name to MIDIAN in 1990. This prime Thrash Metal outfit from New Jersey, USA, split up in 1992 then reformed and split up in 2008 and then reformed again in
2010. "Thrashology" is a 2CD collection that includes everything that MIDIAN has released up to date. Here you will find both MERCENARI demos from 1989, the 1990 and both 1991 demos from MIDIAN, plus some rare material like live recordings and videos, rehearsals and unreleased songs. There is no way to describe with words how awesome this material is. Oldschool Thrash Metal, insanely fast, ultra-aggressive, technical, full of memorable riffs and then some. If you already know about MIDIAN, you know what I am talking about. If you don't, do yourself a favour and get "Thrashology". I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!
